2021 青年外交官英語導覽營 府城台南篇：Future Diplomat Award

這次要和大家介紹的是 Meet Up Formosa 舉辦的 2021 青年外交官英語導覽營隊，這次導覽的地方是台南，這個營隊會示範如何導覽，營隊的最後一天，許多家長都會前來觀看大家導覽的表現，而且最酷的是，這整個營隊都是全英文營隊。

第一天 赤崁樓 大天后宮 祀典武廟 全美戲院

剛到那裡時就開始破冰，破冰的遊戲有兩種，一種是你寫出三個關於自己的句子，兩個是真的，一個是假的，看同學可不可以猜出哪一個是假的。另一個是老師會說出一種種類，大家會輪流說出可以想到的詞彙，如果想不到就可以跳過。

Walking Tour 是這次營隊主要的重點，這是一個導遊會帶你親自走訪各大景點並向你介紹景點的歷史的一種導覽方式，不會用到任何交通工具，就只是單純走路而已。

第一天我們走訪了許多不一樣的景點，有赤崁樓、大天后宮、祀典武廟以及全美戲院，在走訪的過程中，學到的東西可不少，這些學到的知識在最後一天也會有很大的作用。

赤崁樓有另外一個名稱叫做普羅民遮城，下方的基座是由荷蘭人蓋的，而上方原本也是荷蘭人蓋的，但是鄭成功來到台灣之後對荷蘭人的建築不滿意，就把上面拆掉之後蓋了中式寺廟。赤崁樓前面有九隻贔屭，贔屭是其中一種龍的兒子，他很喜歡重的東西，所以常常會看到他們背上背著石板。

大天后宮的前殿有兩個媽祖的雕像，最中間也最大的媽祖雕像是金色的，而在他的旁邊有一座黑臉的媽祖雕像，之所以會這樣是因為最早以前，媽祖的臉是金的，但是經過很多年，香所製造的那些菸以及灰塵讓媽祖的臉變成黑色，直到有一天媽祖的頭不小心掉了下來，露出了一點金色，大家才發現原來媽祖的頭原本是金色的，在重建的時候才作了一個金色的。

大天后宮的後殿是寧靖王和他五個老婆上吊自殺的地方，寧靖王是明朝的最後一個勢力，又稱朱術桂，後殿原本是他的住處，後來因為五位老婆先上吊自殺，所以在上吊自己之前，他和一位僧侶說要把自己的住處蓋成一個寺廟，所以才會有現在這個廟。

祀典武廟是祀奉關羽的一個廟，祀典武廟前有一條道路，原本在日治時期因為寺廟擋住了那一條路，所以想要拆掉這所寺廟，但是因為那時候的人民對這個想法很不滿意，而發起了抗爭，所以最後並沒有拆掉這所寺廟。

祀典武廟有兩個龍的兒子，一個叫做椒圖，一個叫做狻猊，椒圖通常會出現在寺廟的門口，因為不喜歡被打擾，所以用來守護寺廟不讓壞人進入，狻猊很喜歡火，所以通常會出現在香爐上，用來保護寺廟不要著火。

全美戲院是一個電影海報全部都是用手繪的戲院，而且也是一個二輪片戲院，畫電影海報的人是一位叫做顏振發的 67 歲畫家，而這間戲院是李安導演高中時期很常來看電影的一間戲院。

第二天 林百貨 台南孔廟 台灣文學館

這天有老師來教我們如何設計或導覽一個很精彩的 walking tour，主要的重點就是要讓自己的導覽有趣、有跟觀眾互動的部分、有很豐富的知識，要有自信而且要有多一點的手部動作，像是講到某個地方的時候叫要比那個地方，也可以自己準備一些圖片給觀眾看。

林百貨裡面的電梯是台南的第一部商用電梯，在建好的時候是台南的第一高樓，在這個百貨的最頂樓，六樓，有著一個神社祭拜著商業界的神。當時在戰爭時留下的痕跡現在都還在林百貨找的到。

台南孔廟是一個祭拜孔子的廟，也是台灣第一所學校，在孔廟上共停了六十四隻鴟鴞，鴟鴞是一種不祥之鳥，但是因為他們太喜歡孔子的教導，所以就一一停在孔廟的屋頂上，就再也沒有離開了。

台灣文學館的附近就是台南美術館和嘉南水利局，這三個建築物都是日治時期時蓋的，而台灣文學館是第一個蓋的，也是三者裡最漂亮的，因為當時經費最足夠。

台南美術館是三個建築物裡面第二個建成的，當時是土黃色的，後來國民黨來執政的時候，將此建築物做為警察局，並將建築物塗成暗紅色，現在將建築還原成原本的土黃色。

這一天晚上，大家就開始寫自己的稿子，只剩下一天半的時間可以寫稿，所以我們這一間房間的同學都說要約早上七點起床趕稿，這樣才來的及在當天導覽之前將稿子背起來。

導覽路徑分成兩種，一種是第一天走的路徑，一種是今天走的路徑，而我們這一小組被分配到的路徑是昨天走的路徑，而我被分配到的是祀典武廟的介紹，會包括旁邊的三代廳。

第三天 彩虹酥 導覽準備

跟大家介紹一下我是怎麼寫稿的，首先我會先寫出我需要介紹的景點，再去寫出每一個部分的稿子，這邊我會比較建議用手寫，因為在我的經驗裡面，手寫的話我可以比較容易記得我下一個部份要介紹的東西，例如我會記得關於椒圖的部分是在第一頁的左下角，這樣就可以輕易地記住導覽順序。

還有我不建議先用中文寫出來之後再拿去 Google 翻譯將中文翻譯成英文，第一是因為 Google 翻譯沒有辦法翻譯專有名詞，像是鄭成功 Koxinga 會被翻譯成 Zheng Chenggong。第二是因為 Google 翻譯常常會把可以用淺顯易懂的方式介紹的句子翻譯成很複雜的句子。常常看到 Google 翻譯的句子都會看不太懂。

我們去一間教室製作彩虹酥，基本上就是蛋黃酥，但是把中間的蛋黃換成麻糬，而且把外皮做成彩虹的顏色，並不是一般的黃色。每一組六個人，總共做了二十個，大家全部做的彩虹酥加起來一個人剛好可以拿到六個。

這一天剛好是拿來練習昨天寫好的稿子的日子，今天主要和外師一起練習稿子，外師和老師們會提供關於我們稿子的建議，我收到的建議就是要在多加一些和觀眾互動的部分，可以問一些問題，也可以分享自己的經驗。

第四天 實際導覽 得獎了！

早上老師有準備關於景點的考題，讓我們大家複習關於自己的景點的一些重要知識，也助於大家強化自己的稿子，加入一些更豐富的知識，吸引觀眾的注意。老師也有隨機抽同學上台練習講稿，讓大家不要那麼緊張。

以下是我寫的搞子（因為是全英文營隊，所以全部都是用英文寫的）：

Hi! My name is Jin, and today I will be taking you to the official god of war temple, I believe you just walked out of the Grand Matsu temple right? In 三寶 hall, there is also a statue of general Guan, which is the main god of this temple! Police, Business man and soilders often come here to pray to general Guan.

Without further ado, lets get started! 

As you can see, there is a road facing us, but instead of tearing down this temple to make the road straight, they did a big turn. The people at that time were furious about the idea of tearing down this temple just because of a road. As you can see, general Guan was very important to everyone.

Now look at this two round statues, they are one of the dragon's son, and can you find which this creature is here in the picture? This creature is 椒圖, and it doesn't like to be disturbed. It is often seen on the temple doors to protect the temple.

Before we go in, can you guess which door we will pass through? The one one the right? the left? or the middle? For Chinese temples, the right door is called 'Dragon' which means good luck, while the left door is called 'Tiger' and means bad luck. The middle door is only for emperors and presidents. We take good luck in and take bad luck out, so right in left out.

Let's go in! Now we can see an incense holder, there are two creatures on top, they are also one of the dragon's son, can you find it in the picture? This creature is called 狻猊, it really likes fire, it is usually seen on incense holders, because temples are easy to create a fire, so it is used to protect the temple.

Come here! Look at this! This is the weapon called the Green Dragon Crescent Blade which general Guan used, can anyone guess how heavy it weighs? It weighs around 18 kilograms.

When general Guan was beheaded, his soul was angry and wondering around. Suddenly, a monk told him: "There is no reason for you to be angry, even though you got beheaded, you also killed a lot of people! I am also here to offer you a job fo protecting the Buddhist temple." General Guan realized he also killed a lot of people, so he stopped being angry and accepeted the job.

Turn around! You can see a plate that has three words on it, does anyone know how it is pronounced in Chinese or Japanese? In Chinese, it is pronounced as 大丈夫, which means a gentle guy that won't do guilty things. In Japanese, it is pronounced as だいじょうぶ, which means 'everything is gonna be alright'.

At the back of the door, there are these bumps, they are called doornails, this means this temple is an official temple, and the main god has the same status as the emperor these days.

(Walk to the three generations hall)

This is called three generations hall, for normal temples, it is usually one generation, but because general Guan is a very well respected god, so he has a three generations hall. Like Confucius, he is also a very well respected god, can anyone guess how many generations of Confucius are prayed? Confucius has a five generations hall, which means he has five generations prayed.

Back to the three generations hall, can anyone guess which three genertions are they? The three generations are, father, grand father, grand grand father, grand grand father is in the middle, grand father is on the right and father is on the left.

There was one time where general Guan and his sister-in-laws were captured, the person who captured them wanted to ruin their reputation, so he puts them into the same room for night. Instead of sleeping with the girls, general Guan was reading books for the whole night outside the room, and saved his and his sister-in-law's reputation.

Does anyone know what kind of books were he reading? He was reading Confucius's books, general Guan is really intellengent, so he is also known as a god of literature.

這些是我寫的稿子，雖然當天因為緊張等因素導致我講話的速度變得異常的快，但是我覺得當天表現得非常好，因為我還是有保持手部的動作，也被許多家長和老師稱讚。

最後我拿到的是 Future Diplomat Award，中文是公眾演說家獎，頒發給當天導覽時表現最好的一位學生，而很幸運的那就是我。我覺得可以拿到這項獎的原因就是因為我把稿子背得很熟，而且跟觀眾互動的成分很多，拿到這個獎很開心。

我覺得這個營隊是很有學習價值的，在這四天裡，大約可以學到一百八十個單字，而且可以運用在自己的導覽上，可以實際運用這些單字。在整個營隊裡面，也可以訓練到你的表演能力，常常有機會可以上台發表自己的想法。

我非常推薦這一個營隊，你可以練習和程度不同的人討論以及聊天，可以練習和同學溝通，討論出最好的戰術。如果下一次這一個營隊剛好在我想要去的地方的話，我想我會報名參加，雖然這次的營隊讓我錯失了機器人教室的慶功宴 :<。
